Welcome to The Tiny Craft Cottage

Welcome to the Tiny Craft Cottage! I'm so glad you're here!  My name is Heather and I am the proud owner (along with my husband Gary) of this wild craft supply cornucopia I like to call my little slice of heaven!  

I've been a multi-passionate creative since birth so its no wonder that when a random "craft supplies for sale" ad popped up on social media, I had to find out more!  Turns out, it wasn't just any craft supplies.  It was 23oo square feet of vintage craft supplies that originally came from a 3rd generation, family owned Missouri Craft and Hobby shop that originally started in 1947.  The items in the photo had been sitting in this storage warehouse for over 25 years and their loving owner knew it was time for them to find a new home.

So on my birthday in October of 2024, Gary and I hit the open road from Michigan to Missouri to see what exactly was lining those shelves.

We got there, I fell head over in heels in love and a little over a month later, two moving trucks and over 450 boxes of product, the craft supplies made it to their new home in Buchanan, Michigan.  

Add to all those vintage supplies the partial craft/scrapbooking estate of a forty  year creating habit, a lifelong jewelry makers charm collection and an acquired scrapbook paper and rubber stamp supply and you've got the making of a quite a magical craft store and for me, a dream come true!

It's taken close to a year to get through several of the Missouri boxes but I am hopeful that we will be opening up our cute little creative Mecca in late Autumn 2025.
